The place where Yoga & Wine successfully meet!
Yoga & Wine what a beautiful combination! Both aim to make us feel euphoria and bliss. Aren’t they?
Many people have in their minds the ideal day starting with a Yoga ritual and finish with a nice dinner and a glass of wine. How about you?
Nowadays, it’s very common to find Yoga and Wine retreats or Yoga in vineyards around the globe. Would you join?
In Greece we have found the ideal destination for such an experience. Dexamenes Seaside Hotel a postwar winery, has been transformed into a barefoot luxury resort on one of the most unspoiled stretches of coastline in the western Peloponnese.
Dexamenes Seaside Resort is a unique, modern getaway with a simple, chic design. Built inside a former wine factory dating back to the 1920s. The property houses two large concrete blocks that are divided into two rows of ten storage tanks. Each one has been designed as an identical bedroom with an opening adjacent to the beach. The bedrooms are all connected by a wide promenade walkway raised above the sand and leading down towards the water.
On May 31st – June 2nd we escaped in Dexamenes Seaside Hotel for our 1st Yoga & Wine Retreat. Alexandra Rizou – our Yoga teacher – lead our Moon Yoga & Sunset Yoga practises and Panos Kourelas – Chef – had prepared delicious vegan meals. We had time to relax on the beach, enjoy Yoga & Mindful sessions and get to know each other while drinking delicious Wine labels and chatting around a fire on the beach! We were also honoured to host Eleftherios Petrounias and Vasiliki Milousi as guests in our Retreat!
Have you missed it ? No worries as we have already planned the next one! Yoga in a Winery is coming on 27-29 September with Yoga teacher Daria Goutou and Chef & Vegan specialist Panos Kourelas.
